When Kululu fits better

  • You want to start free: Kululu’s Free plan collects up to 100 uploads during a 24-hour active time and keeps them viewable for 7 days (photos slightly compressed; no “Download All” ZIP). Guest.Gallery’s free trial event is for testing: 7 days, limited data and no downloads.
  • You want guests to add captions to their photos or post text-only messages, like a digital guestbook.
  • You run a public event, such as a conference, and want moderation tools to control what appears in the album.
  • You run events regularly: Kululu offers monthly business subscriptions that include several Pro events.
  • You expect a large or public event and Kululu Pro’s limits (unlimited uploads under a Fair Usage Policy of up to 10,000 uploads and 5,000 participants per event) suit it. Guest.Gallery Premium’s Fair Use covers private events and a small company's Christmas party, with up to 100 guests and an expected allocation of up to 1GB per guest; contact us in advance for larger events, higher per-guest allocations, public events or other commercial events.

When Guest.Gallery may fit

  • You want a long upload window: Premium keeps uploads open up to 12 months after the event date and Basic up to 3 months (Kululu: 24 hours, 30 days or 3 months by plan). Uploads can also open up to 14 days before the event.
  • You’d rather plan around storage than an upload count: Basic includes 25GB, and Premium follows Fair Use for private events and a small company's Christmas party.
  • You want original-resolution photos and videos and one ZIP of everything on every paid plan; on Kululu these come with Plus or Pro, not Free.

Is Guest.Gallery an alternative to Kululu?

Yes, for collecting guest photos and videos. Do guests need an app or an account?
