How to choose a wedding photo sharing tool
Photos, videos and plan differences
Both providers advertise photo and video uploads. Guest.Gallery guests use a browser without an app or guest account (on iPhone the QR code may open an App Clip); Wedbox also advertises browser guest uploads without an app download. Basic capacity and Premium Fair Use limits apply to Guest.Gallery.
Guest access and downloads
Guest.Gallery provides original-quality downloads during the event’s access window. Wedbox’s FAQ also advertises full-quality downloads. Wedbox’s US App Store listing (checked 25 October 2026) shows in-app purchases from $0.99 to $44.99, including “Single download” for $23.99, “Premium package” for $44.99 and “Yearly hosting subscription” for $11.49, without describing what each covers. Check who can download and any purchase conditions before booking.
Test the actual guest experience
Test the QR code and a sample upload on the phones your guests will use. Share the event link thoughtfully: a QR code or link can be forwarded and does not verify a guest’s identity.
Upload windows, hosting and prices
Guest.Gallery Basic includes 25GB and three months of access; Premium includes twelve months under Fair Use, from the selected activation/event date. Wedbox advertises two months of free storage after the wedding with paid extensions. These are hosting periods; Wedbox’s upload deadline has not been verified.
Storage and practical limits
Guest.Gallery Basic has 25GB total capacity. Premium Fair Use covers private events and a small company's Christmas party, with up to 100 guests and an expected allocation of up to 1GB per guest. Contact us in advance for larger events, higher per-guest allocations, public events or other commercial events. Exact current Wedbox file, video and storage caps have not been verified from the reviewed official pages.
